Muhammad bin Sharifa

Muhammad bin Sharifa ( Arabic محمد بن شريفة/ Muḥammad bin-Šarīfa; * 1930 in Laâtamna , El Jadida ; † November 22, 2018 in Rabat ) was a Moroccan scientist and university professor. He was the rector of the Mohammed I University in Oujda , Morocco . He was also a member of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco ( Arabic أكاديمية المملكة المغربية).

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter " A common word between us and you ", which the personalities of Islam sent on October 13, 2007 to the "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ..." .
