Muhammed Çalhanoğlu (spelling also Muhammed Calhanoglu ; born April 19, 1995 in Mannheim ) is a Turkish - German football player .

Career

Muhammed Çalhanoğlu began his career at Karlsruher SC and 1. FC Turanspor Mannheim . Then he played at Waldhof Mannheim . He then moved back to KSC and was promoted to the second team in August 2014. In summer 2015 he moved to Austria for the second division team SK Austria Klagenfurt . In March 2016 he made his debut in the second division against LASK Linz . After Klagenfurt's forced relegation to the regional league, he left the club after the 2015/16 season. For the 2016/17 season he moved to Turkey to the third division Gümüşhanespor .

Personal

Çalhanoğlu's brother Hakan is a Turkish national player and also played for Turanspor, Waldhof Mannheim and KSC; Since 2017 he has been under contract with the Italian first division club AC Milan .
