Muhammed Altıntaş (born March 30, 1964 in Trabzon ) is a former Turkish football player . He played much of his professional career for Galatasaray Istanbul and had to end his career prematurely as a result of a serious car accident. His nickname is "Mammi".
Career
At the age of 23 he moved to Galatasaray, who was coached by Jupp Derwall at the time. Despite his young age, he was able to fight for a regular place in the team and from then on became an integral part of the team. He was instrumental in the Turkish championship Galatasarays in the 1986-1987 season, in which his club was able to win the championship for the first time after 14 years.
