The Muir Burn is a watercourse in Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders , Scotland . It arises from the confluence of the Pow Gill , Haw Gill , Long Sike and Rae Gill on the eastern edge of the Tinnisburn Forest west of Greena Hill . It flows south to its confluence with the Liddel Water .
