The Mulroy Bay ( Irish : Cuan to Mhaoil Rua ) is a bay in County Donegal in the north of Ireland .

The Mulroy Bay extends in a north-south direction over a length of about 19 km in a narrow, elongated S-shaped winding funnel shape between the Fanad peninsula along its eastern coast and the mainland of the Irish county Donegal in the west; it opens into the North Atlantic . Near its southern tip is the small town of Milford . Commercial salmon fishing is practiced in Mulroy Bay .
