Armería is a municipality in the Mexican state of Colima . The municipality covers an area of ​​410.1 km² and had 28,695 inhabitants in 2010. The administrative seat and largest place of the municipality is Ciudad de Armería ; other larger towns in the municipality are Cofradía de Juárez , Rincón de López , Augusto Gómez Villanueva and Cuyutlán .

The municipality borders in the north on the municipality Coquimatlán , in the east on Tecomán , in the west on Manzanillo and in the south on the Pacific .

The climate can be described as tropical maritime with an average annual temperature of 26 ° C.
