Murat Tosun (born February 26, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Murat Tosun completed his youth career with Tasmania Gropiusstadt and Tennis Borussia Berlin . The striker attracted attention at Tennis Borussia Berlin and switched to Karşıyaka SK in summer 2005 . As before in Berlin, he stayed there for only one year. Ankaraspor signed him on a free transfer. He is mostly a substitute for the capital city but has scored a few goals for Ankara. His contract with Ankaraspor runs until June 30, 2010.

During the winter break 2009/10 Tosun moved to Trabzonspor . Here he came to six league games by the end of the season. For the upcoming season he was awarded to Konyaspor . At Konyaspor, he was mostly on the bench and made five league games. For the second half of the 2012/12 season he was loaned to the second team Trabzonspors, to the third division club 1461 Trabzon . With this team he reached the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig at the end of the season and thus direct promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . With his eight goals in eleven league encounters, Tosun was instrumental in this success.

The move to the second division Manisaspor was announced during the winter break . During his time at Manisa, Tosun could not convince and only scored one goal, but one worth seeing: After Manisaspor was down 1-0 at home against 1461 Trabzon on February 23, 2013 up to the 94th minute , Tosun converted a cross spectacularly by Overhead kick and was able to save his team a point with his last minute hit. He left Manisaspor on December 11, 2013 and was then without a club for a few months before moving to Elazığspor on August 1, 2014 . At the end of March 2015, he left this club prematurely.
