Murat Yılmaz (born December 15, 1988 in Berlin ) is a German - Turkish soccer player . He is the older brother of the Turkish national player Sefa Yılmaz .

Career

Yılmaz learned to play football in the youth departments of various amateur clubs in his hometown Berlin. He went through the youth departments of 1. FC Schöneberg , BFC Preussen and Tennis Borussia Berlin one after the other . In the 2006/07 season he was appointed to the squad of the first men's team in addition to his membership in the youth team and completed six league games by the end of the season , in which he scored one goal. In the following season 2007/08 he completed six more league games in the first half of the season for TeBe and also scored one goal.

For the second half of the same season he moved to league rivals BFC Dynamo . With this club he increased his performance and scored three goals in five games by the end of the season. For the 2008/09 season , Yılmaz moved to the regional division Hansa Rostock II , where he was a reservist for a season and came to twelve missions.

For the 2009/10 season, Yılmaz had several offers from Turkey . Yılmaz decided from the available offers for that of the first division club MKE Ankaragücü and moved to Turkey. At this club he played exclusively for the reserve team. After he was sent to the reserve team at the start of his second season at Ankara, he terminated his contract by mutual agreement.

After returning from Turkey, he was hired by the Berlin club Türkiyemspor and played there for a year and a half. In spring 2012 he left Türkiyemspor after bankruptcy proceedings had been opened against the association. He moved to the upper division FSV Optik Rathenow . With this team, Yılmaz reached third place in the table at the end of the 2011/12 season and thus rose to the Regionalliga Nordost . Yılmaz contributed six goals in eleven league games to this success.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season, Yılmaz again had several offers from Turkey . Yılmaz decided from the present offers for that of the second division TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor and moved to Turkey. Here he scored two goals in his second league game away against Boluspor .

At the end of the season he left Linyitspor and moved within the league to the relegated Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor .ntvspor.net:

For the 2014/15 season, Yılmaz moved to the second division Adanaspor . After just one season, he changed his employer again and was hired by league rivals Altınordu Izmir . In the summer of 2016, he returned to MKE Ankaragücü , where he had already been under contract from 2009-2010.
