The Murdoch Nunatak is a 320  m high island off the Nordenskjöld coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula , which was also described as Nunatak . It is located 5 km northeast of Donald Nunatak in the group of the Seal Islands .

It was mapped in 1947 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey , which named it after William Gordon Burn-Murdoch (1862-1939), ship's doctor and artist on the whaler Balaena on the Dundee Whaling Expedition (1892-1893).
