Muriel Surdez
Muriel Surdez (born November 29, 1968 in Delémont ) is a Swiss sociologist . From 2014 to 2017 she was President of the Swiss Society for Sociology .
After studying political science at the University of Lausanne ( BA -Examen 1990 MA -Examen 1992) it was at the 2000 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University of Paris doctorate . Since 2005 she has been teaching as a professor at the University of Friborg .
Her main research interests are professional sociology and political sociology , in particular political socialization .
