The Murray Harbor is a natural harbor on the east side of Murray Island before the Danco Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is east of Cape Murray .
The name of the natural harbor was common among whalers at least since 1922. The naming was probably based on the island of the same name. It is named after the British marine zoologist and oceanographer John Murray (1841–1914).
