Musashi Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 武 蔵 , Suzuki Musashi ; born February 11, 1994 in Montego Bay ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
society
He started his career at Albirex Niigata , where he played from 2012 to 2017. From 2014 to 2015 he played three times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. In 2015 he was loaned to Mito Hollyhock . In 2017 he switched to Matsumoto Yamaga FC . In 2018 he switched to V-Varen Nagasaki . Another move to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo took place in January 2019 .
In August 2020 he moved to Europe to the Belgian first division partner K Beerschot VA , where he signed a contract with a term of three years and the option to extend it for a further year.
National team
He qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics with the Japanese national Olympic team . There he took part in two group matches and scored one goal.
On March 22, 2019, Suzuki had his first international match for the senior national team as part of a friendly against Colombia. He played in two of three group matches at the 2019 East Asian Cup .
