Redecz Krukowy Museum

The Redecz Krukowy Museum in Redecz Krukowy in the Polish powiat Włocławski ( Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship ) was opened in 2009.

The museum, which consists of several departments, is located in a former factory in Redecz Krukowy on Droga krajowa 62 from Brześć Kujawski to Radziejów , where production continued until 2008. The museum is owned by Janusz Borkowski, owner of the Krukowiak agricultural machinery factory in Brześć Kujawski.

prehistory

The agricultural machinery factory "Krukowiak" has its roots on the farm of the Borkowski family. The company was founded in 1977 and initially conquered the domestic market. Eventually the company became a major machine exporter to many countries around the world.

When a modern production hall was put into operation in Brześć Kujawski in 2008, the plant in Redecz Krukowy was closed. The Museum of Agricultural Technology and Rural Economy was first set up in the former production halls.

Museum of Agricultural Technology and Rural Economics

The Museum of Agricultural Technology and Rural Economy (in Polish, Muzeum Techniki Rolniczej i Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego ) was founded in 2009. Most of the exhibits come from the owner's family collection or from private donors.

The collection includes agricultural machines and implements, cars and motorcycles, horse-drawn carriages, everyday items and equipment for shops, workshops and offices. These include a Simca Fiat from before 1939, Niemen mopeds, pioneer radios from the Polish radio equipment factory in Dzierżoniów from 1949, Neptun televisions from the Polish manufacturer Unimor and lathes from the Gerlach company in Warsaw from 1898 and 1905.

Kujawiesches Museum of Arms, Science and Technology

The second department of the museum is the Kujawiesche Museum of Arms, Science and Technology, founded a little later (in Polish: Kujawskie Muzeum Oręża, Nauki i Techniki ). Militaria, uniforms and war-time memorabilia are on display there. In the outdoor area is a multi-purpose aircraft of the type Wilga the manufacturer PZL .

Kujawiesches Railway Museum

The Kujawiesche Railway Museum (in Polish: Kujawskie Muzeum Kolei ) opened on July 1, 2017 .

The museum's collection includes historic steam and diesel locomotives, freight cars and passenger cars , draisines and trams. There is also a small train station with equipment and a historical collection of railway accessories.
