The Musha Islands ( Arabic  , French Îles Moucha , also: Maskali Islands ) are a small archipelago of coral islands and reefs in Djibouti in the Gulf of Tadjoura . The archipelago is located about fifteen kilometers north of the capital of Djibouti, Djibouti City , and belongs to the capital district, specifically the Sixth Arrondissement (Arrondissement du Plateau), which coincides with the commune Ras-Dika. In addition to the main island Musha, the islands include the uninhabited islands of Maskal (one and a half kilometers to the west) and the Île du Large (700 meters to the south). There are more reefs around the archipelago, with only a shallow lagoon between Musha Island and Île du Large.

The islands are best known for their mangrove areas , their diverse underwater world and diving areas. They are designated as a protected area and on the Musha is Moucha Airport ( IATA : MHI, ICAO : HDMO) and a lighthouse.
