The Muskeg Gap ( in Argentina istmo Almizclero called) is a low-lying isthmus at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located at the northern end of the Sobral Peninsula .

The Isthmus served the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey as an abbreviation for survey work on the Sobral Peninsula from 1960 to 1961. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him on 12 February 1964 following the Muskeg - tractors of the Canadian manufacturer Bombardier .
