- Mustapha Mansouri

It is reported of a cold snap in Saudi-Moroccan relations since June 2017, when Mohammed bin Salman was nominated Crown Prince. As evidence, it is cited that the representative of Saudi Arabia voted against Morocco's bid to host the 2026 World Cup in June 2018. What is seen as a wink with the fence post that Morocco had officially canceled its participation in several meetings of the Saudi-led coalition for military intervention in Yemen since 2015 . On his trip to the Maghreb region in November 2018, Mohammed bin Salman did not travel to Morocco, while the Moroccan media claim he had been unloaded from Morocco, allegedly from the circles of the Saudi Crown Prince Rabat did not fit into his schedule.
