Courtyards
The Muthöfe are mountain farms located between 1100 and 1500 m slm high above Dorf Tirol and the Merano valley basin on the southern flanks of the Mutspitz in South Tyrol .
Location and access
The Muthöfe are located above Dorf Tirol on the southern slopes of the Texel Group below the Mutspitz. A farm entrance from the valley was completed in 2006, so that the residents no longer have to rely on footpaths and cable cars.
tourism
The Meraner Höhenweg leads past the Muthöfe, some of which are restaurants today. These are also starting points for hikes and mountain tours in the Texel Group Nature Park . The Hochmuth cable car transports up to 20 people per trip from the valley station to the Hochmuth mountain station.
