Muzo ( Georgian მუცო ; mʊt͡sɔ ) is a village in Georgia , in the Dusheti municipality of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region .
Muzo is located in the Andakiszqali valley (right tributary of the Argun ). The village is 121 kilometers away from the town of Dusheti , about 1600 m above sea level. In 2014, 15 people lived in Muzo, compared to 49 in 2002.
There are some medieval buildings and ruins in the village of Muzo. These buildings served both as residential houses and for defense, especially the towers widespread in Chewsuretia . Muzo has two historical parts, Schetekaurt-Ubani ("quarter of the Schetekauri family") and Daiaurt-Ubani ("quarter of the Daiauri family").
