Mychniwka ( Ukrainian Михнівка ; Russian Михновка Michnowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 400 inhabitants (2001).
Mychniwka belongs administratively to the district municipality Mjakenkiwka ( М'якеньківка ) in Reshetylivka district . The village is located on the right bank of the Howtwa , a 112 km long left tributary of the Psel , about 6 km southwest of the community center Mjakenkiwka, 13 km south-west of Rajonzentrum Reshetylivka and about 50 km west of the Oblastzentrum Poltava . The P-52 regional road runs southeast of the village and a 450-hectare bird sanctuary of national importance lies in the Howta marshes southwest of Mychniwka.
