Mykola Trublaini
Mykola Petrowytsch Trublaini ( Ukrainian Микола Петрович Трублаїні , scientific. Transliteration Mykola Petrovyč Trublajini ; born April 12 . Jul / 25. April 1907 greg. In Wilschanka , Podolia Governorate , Russian Empire ; † 4. October 1941 at the Northern Crimean Front) was a Ukrainian writer.
biography
Trublaini was born in Vilschanka in the south of what is now the Ukrainian Oblast of Vinnytsia . From an early age he had the desire to become a journalist, which he finally succeeded in 1925. In 1928 he made a trip to Vladivostok , and in 1929 with an icebreaker to Wrangel Island . Impressed by this trip, he wrote two books: "Through the tropics to the Arctic" and "A man hurries north". From 1930 to 1933 he took part in several polar expeditions. The Second World War ended its work. He volunteered for the front in 1941, where he was killed in a bomb attack that same year.
