Mynnion
Mynnion ( Greek Μυννίον ) was a Greek sculptor who worked at the end of the 5th century BC. Was active in Athens .
Mynnion is from a statement about the work in the year 408 BC. Known on the frieze of Erechtheion . This shows that he came from the Demos Agryle and received 127 drachmas for the work on the Erechtheion frieze . For this he had a man who beats a horse and made a stele . The payment was made up as follows. Each figurative representation was paid for with 60 drachms and the stele with 7 drachms. The man walks behind the horse and presumably drives it forward.
