Myropillja ( Ukrainian Миропілля ; Russian Мирополье Miropolje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Sumy Oblast with about 2800 inhabitants (2004).
The village, which was founded around 1650, was the administrative center of the district council of the same name until 2016 , which also included the village of Oleksandrija ( ⊙ ) with about 10 inhabitants, on August 25, 2016 the village became the center of the newly founded rural community Myropillja ( Миропільська сільська громадка громад hromada ) to this are also the nine villages Baryliwka ( Барилівка ) Hnylyzja ( Гнилиця ) Hruniwka ( Грунівка ), Mala Rybyzja ( Мала Рибиця ) Oleksandrija, Sapsillja ( Запсілля ), meaning ( Сінне ) Welyka Rybyzja ( Велика Рибиця ) and Velykyj Prykil ( Великий Прикіл ).
Myropillja is on the left bank of the Psel and on the territorial road T – 19–01 in the north of the Krasnopillja Rajon , near the border with the Russian Oblast Kursk about 40 km north of the district center Krasnopillja and 40 km northeast of the Oblast center Sumy .
The place belonged to the Russian SFSR until 1928 and only then came to the Ukrainian SSR , since 1991 it has been part of today's Ukraine.
