Mysonne (real Mysonne Linen ) is an American rapper from New York and owner of Universal Soldierz Entertainment (US ENT.) . In addition to his authentic rap lyrics, he is known for his commitment on the streets.

biography

Mysonne was born in the Bronx , New York in the late 1970s . He grew up with his mother and siblings in the New York ghetto and was confronted with street problems at a young age. When Mysonne was 11 years old, he lost his father, an event that had a huge impact on him.

Mysonne always tried to stay out of the daily problems of everyday life (violence, gangs and drugs) by engaging in education and sports. As a teenager, Mysonne often visited the famous Rucker Park and played basketball with NBA legends Allen Iverson , Stephon Marbury and Rafer Alston .

While he was making a name for himself on the basketball court, Mysonne was also beginning to delve into hip-hop culture. He attended battles and competed against hip-hop greats DMX and Shyne , among others .

Mysonne was now becoming more and more respected in the New York hip-hop community. He released a variety of mixtapes and gained more and more attention. Some collaborations followed, including with scene size DMX . It wasn't long before Mysonne was signed to the world-famous major label Def Jam . He continued to work on his debut album Life Teaches and Reality Bites at this time Mysonne's son was born.

Before his album was released, Mysonne was arrested for two armed robberies and sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison, which was later reduced to 7 years. Mysonne always states that none of the robberies was perpetrated by him.

In 2001, while Mysonne was still in custody, he founded the organization Universal Soldierz Entertainment (US Ent.) With the motto "Trust, Respect & Integrity". Objective of US Ent. is to bring positive thinking people together with morals and principles.

After Mysonne was released from state prison in 2006, he devoted his life to his career again. Despite Mysonne's decision to remain independent, he was able to gain a foothold quickly, followed by music videos, concerts, mix tapes and appearances on various radio broadcasts.

In 2010 Mysonne signed with Game's label The Black Wall Street Records . This was followed by new mix tapes and other collaborations with, among others, Hopsin & The Game .
