Néstor Del Río , full name Néstor Misael Del Río Delgado , (born November 23, 1992 in Las Piedras ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.80 meter tall defender came from Las Piedras in the Septima to the youth team of the Uruguayan club Club Atlético Cerro . At Cerro, he is in the squad of the first team in the Primera División in the 2012/13 season . He also plays for their reserve (formativas). After he came to a mission in Uruguay's top division in Clausura of the 2011/12 season, he ran again in the Apertura of the 2012/13 season. In his second first division game, Del Río, who replaced the injured Eduardo Mieres in this encounter, received a red card from former FIFA referee Gustavo Siegler on November 4, 2012 in a 2-1 defeat by El Tanque Sisley . Further premier league appearances for Cerro did not follow. In 2013 he was loaned to the second division side Boston River and played a game in the Segunda División (no goal). In the Apertura 2014 he was back in the Cerros squad. In the Apertura of the 2014/15 season, however, he was not used in the first division. At the beginning of February 2015, he moved to the second division club Central Español and played nine times (no goal) in the second-highest Uruguayan division by the end of the season. In the 2015/16 season, 16 second division appearances (no goal) were recorded for him. During the 2016 season, he played eight more games (one goal) in the Segunda División. In mid-March 2017, he joined the league competitor Club Atlético Rentistas , for whom he has so far (as of July 17, 2017) played nine second division games (no goal).
