NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series

The NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series is a former NASCAR amateur motorsport series , which drove exclusively on short ovals in the southwestern United States .

The series was founded in 1985, light "late models" were used. At the end of 2006, the series was disbanded along with the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Midwest Series , NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Northwest Series and NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southeast Series as part of the remodeling of NASCAR's regional series.

At the moment, NASCAR’s largest series exclusively driving regionally are the NASCAR Camping World West Series and the NASCAR Camping World East Series .
