NK Izola ( Nogometni Klub Izola ) was a Slovenian football club , from Izola .
history
The association was founded in 1923. After the independence of Slovenia, the club qualified for the Slovenska Nogometna Liga and immediately reached third place. This qualified for participation in the UEFA Cup 1992/93 . Due to high financial debt, the club was dissolved at the end of the 1995/96 season.
In 1996 the MNK Izola was founded. However, this is not the legal successor.
