The N Seoul Tower ( Korean 엔 서울 타워 or N 서울 타워 ) is a television tower open to the public in the South Korean capital Seoul . The 236.7 meter high tower stands on Mount Namsan (243 m above sea level). This is why Koreans often call the tower the Namsan Tower ( 남산 타워 ).

General

From the north, a cable car leads from the foot to the top of the mountain at the base of the tower. The tower has an open terrace, a revolving restaurant at a height of 133 meters , and two internal viewing galleries. The upper viewing platform is 138 meters high. At the foot of the tower there is a teddy bear museum and various exhibitions. The tower is built on a cuboid structure, similar to the Tokyo Tower in Japan . Before its renovation in November 2005, the tower was only called Seoul Tower . The tower and its viewing platforms are a popular destination for lovers from all over the world. Numerous love locks can be found on the railing.
