Na'od I.
Na'od I. ( Ethiop . ናዖስ; † July 31, 1508 ) was Emperor of Ethiopia from 1494 until his death . He was the second son of Baeda Maryam and his second wife Kalyupe (also called "Calliope"). Like Constantine II before him, he listened to the advice of Queen Mother Eleni . Despite their help, his rule was marked by internal disagreements. Na'od I. was killed during a campaign against the Muslims in the Sultanate of Ifat .
