Na skále is a 672 m high hill in the Czech Republic . It is located on the western outskirts of the village Železný Újezd in the municipality of Čížkov , Okres Plzeň-jih , in the southwestern foothills of the Brdy Forest .
Surrounding places are Nechanice in the northwest, Nové Mitrovice in the northeast, Železný Újezd in the east, Čížkov in the south and Přešín in the west. In the south-west are the remains of the Strašná skála castle.
There is a 41 m high tower on the mountain, which was built in 2000 and inaugurated on March 31, 2001 by the municipality. It mainly serves as a radio tower, but is also used as a lookout tower. The viewing platform can be reached via 137 steps and is 25.7 m high. The iron construction is closed in the winter months, otherwise accessible during the day.
The tower offers a good view over Castle Green Mountain , Castle Karlskrone and Pilsen to Šumava , Ore Mountains and Brdywald . The cooling towers of Temelín can be seen from a distance .
