Naan Kuro is a salt lagoon that stretches along half the coast of the East Timorese administrative office of Barique ( Manatuto Municipality ). In the west, the lagoon begins in Suco Uma Boco and extends to the middle of the coast of Sucos Aubeon .
The wetland extends over 100 hectares. It belongs to the Important Bird Area Sungai Clere , which is also a wildlife sanctuary.
