The Nachal Alexander ( Hebrew נחל אלכסנדר) or "Alexander River" is a river in Israel north of the city of Netanya . After a period of major pollution, the river is now considered very clean again. The river is known to be the habitat of a species of large softshell turtle ( Trionyx triunguis ).
