Nachman Shai
Nachman Shai ( Hebrew נחמן שי* 28. November 1946 in Jerusalem ) is an Israeli politician of Avoda and journalist .
Life
During his military service he was a member of the Nachal units. He was also employed by the military radio station Galei Zahal Shai during those years . He studied political science and administration at Bar Ilan University and then studied at the Shorenstein Center of the JFK School of Government at Harvard University . As a journalist, he became chairman of the Israel Broadcasting Authority . Shai has been a member of the Knesset since 2009 . From 2009 to 2013 Shai was a member of the Kadima party . He has been a member of the Avoda party since 2013. Shai is married and has three children.
