Nachmann Nathan

Nathan Nachmann Nathan (* 1813 ; † 1894 ) was a German doctor and parliamentarian.

Life

Nachmann Nathan was born as the son of the Eutin merchant Aron Nachmann . After graduating from high school, he first studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1836 he moved to the Friedrichs University in Halle , where he studied medicine. He became a member of the Corps Marchia Halle . He was serving an eight-day prison sentence for insulting a night watchman and gatekeeper. He had to leave Halle and continued his studies elsewhere. After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. med. Nathan practiced as a doctor in Eutin in the Principality of Lübeck . 1870–1878 and 1881–1887 Nathan sat in the Oldenburg state parliament .
