Nightwalker (band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nachtwandler are a German hip-hop band made up of Patrick "John" Ruhrmann, Christoph Riebling and Jens Klingelhöfer. Their music mixes elements of rap , nu metal and soul .

history

The Nachtwandler was founded as Regenundmild in 1994. The artist names of the three Idsteiners are John MC, Nono and Dr. Anesthesia (aka the curly man).

As early as 1994, Regenundmild played themselves in the television film Natalie - Endstation Babystrich . Despite winning a BMG youth competition in 1996, the breakthrough came later. Through an internship at Moses Pelham's 3p label and a subsequent A&R post, John Ruhrmann was given the opportunity to be actively involved in the music business again. This enabled the night walkers to have productions for artists like J-Luv and Cassandra Steen .

With the experience of these productions, a house in Offenbach was converted into a combined living and studio unit, in which the three work on their works. With your label "Musik für Massen" you created the opportunity to be independent and to pursue your goals. After the formation had already released the album "Im Bann des Turntables" under the name Regenundmild in 2000, the "first" Nachtwandler album "Back in the forest" followed in November 2004 . The Nachtwandler are among others the producers of the successful group Rapsoul as well as the rappers Separate and Dirrrty Franz & the b-Side Boyz .
