Nadezhda Bazhina ( Russian Надежда Валерьевна Бажина * 29. December 1987 in Penza , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian water jumper . She is active in jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board as well as in 3 m synchronized jumping, where she starts alongside Svetlana Filippova .
Baschina won several medals at European Swimming Championships , including gold in Budapest in 2006 in the 3 m synchronized competition and in 2010 at the same place on the 3 m board. She won three silver medals at the 2011 European Championships in Turin and two bronze medals at the 2012 European Championships in Eindhoven .
In 2012 she competed in the Olympic Games for the first time . In London , she finished eighth in the pre-match from the 3 m board and only 17th in the semifinals and was eliminated.
