Nadiya Oleksandriwna Mejcher ( Ukrainian Надія Олександрівна Мейхер , artist name Nadiya Hranowska / Надія Грановська also Nadija Mejcher-Hranowska * 10. April 1982 in Sbrutschiwka , Khmelnytskyi Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian mezzo-soprano, actress , television presenter and former member of the Ukrainian-Russian Girl group VIA Gra .

Life

She arrived in the village Sbrutschiwka ( Збручівка ) in the western Ukrainian oblast Khmelnytsky, today the borough of Volochysk heard the daughter of Oleksandr Mejcher and Halyna Hranowska ( Schtscherba ) to the world. When she was four, her parents divorced and she and her mother moved to live with relatives in Volochysk. At the age of 6 she became interested in classical music, dance and athletics. She later became a member of an amateur band and trained in dancing. After attending school, she studied music pedagogy and choreography in Khmelnytskyi . After graduation, she took the surname Hranowska and moved to Kiev, where she studied English and gave dance lessons to children. At a concert by Valeri Meladze in Khmelnytskyi she met his brother, the future songwriter and co-producer of VIA Gra Konstantin Meladze. After a casting, she became a member of the girl group and was very successful with it. After a baby break in 2002, at the height of her popularity, she left the group again in 2006 and began working as a presenter for the Ukrainian TV station STB and continuing her vocal studies. In the same year she moved to England for a short time and took part in the Ukraine on TV channel 1 + 1 in " Dancing with the Stars ". In 2009 she published her collection of poems Миттєвий потяг Myttjewyj potjah . Between 2009 and 2011 she was again a member of VIA Gra .

Nadija Mejcher has been married since 2014 and is the mother of a son (* 2002) and two daughters (* 2012, 2015).
