Nadine Weinauge

Nadine Weinauge (born October 7, 1993 ) is a German wrestler . In 2014 she became German champion in the weight class up to 63 kg.

Career

Nadine Weinauge started wrestling as a teenager in 2004. It belongs to the KSK Furtwangen and was or is mainly carried out by Mario Sachs and Patrick Loes at the Olympic base in Freiburg i.Br. trained. The 1.68 meter tall athlete is a student who achieved success as a junior. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 she was German youth champion in various weight classes. In 2008 she won a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships (age group Cadets) in Daugavpils in the weight class up to 49 kg. She repeated this success at the 2009 European Junior Championships (age group Cadets) in Zrenjanin in the weight class up to 52 kg. In July 2013 she won another bronze medal in the weight class up to 63 kg at the European Junior Championships in Skopje.

In 2012 and 2013, she was the German runner-up in the women's weight class up to 67 kg and 63 kg respectively. In 2014 she managed to become German champion for the first time in the weight class up to 63 kg with a victory in the final over Kathrin Neumaier from VfK Mühlenbach.

At international championships for women, she has not yet been able to place in the front field. However, she achieved a remarkable success at the German Grand Prix in Dormagen in June 2014, in which she took 3rd place in the weight class up to 63 kg behind Monika Ewa Michalik , Poland and Julia Pronzewitsch, Russia. On the way to this success she shouldered Indhyra Helfrich-Linares, Canada, the 2013 and 2014 European champion Anastasija Grigorjeva from Latvia and after a point defeat in the semi-finals against Ewa Monika Michalik in the consolation round Temitope Ogunjini, Canada.
