Nadja Büteführ (born June 17, 1966 in Hagen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1985 at the Friedrich-Harkort-Gymnasium in Herdecke , But Führ studied journalism, political science and German at the University of Münster . She completed her doctoral degree in journalism in January 1994 as a communications scientist with Joachim Westerbarkey with a doctorate to Dr. phil. from.

From 1994 to 1997 But Führ worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Communication Studies at the University of Münster. During this time there were several stays including teaching at the Lomonossow University in Moscow . From 1997 to 1999 she had a teaching position at the Institute for Media Studies at the University of Düsseldorf . Since 1998 she has been working as a freelance consultant, public relations and advertising agency; she runs a self-employed company in Herdecke.

Butführ has been a member of the SPD since 1989 and has been a member of the executive committee of the SPD sub-district Ennepe-Ruhr since 2016. She has been a member of the Herdecke city council since 1999. She was chairman from 2009 to 2017 and has been deputy chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group ever since.

In the state elections in 2017 , But carry was elected as a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. She won the direct mandate in constituency 106 (Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis II) with 39.7 of the first votes . In Parliament she is a member of the Committee on Family, Children and Youth and the Committee on Culture and the Media.
