Nadja Mader , also Nadja Mader-Müller (born December 19 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television and radio presenter .

life and career

Nadja Mader grew up multilingual and speaks German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Bulgarian. Due to various opera engagements of her parents, she got to know all of Europe at an early age and received her school education in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

After completing her Matura , she studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and began studying law and Italian on the one hand, and acting and speaking training on the other.

In 1994, after a casting, she started her professional career at ORF Lower Austria . At first she was a reporter . Since 1996 she has been the presenter of the television program Niederösterreich heute . Since 2007 she has headed the station's culture department.

Since 1999 she has moderated, together with Radio Nö program director Karl Trahbüchler, on December 24th ( Christmas Eve ) the four-hour live broadcast Licht ins Dunkel broadcasts on ORF Lower Austria .

From 2002 to 2007 she hosted the radio show Close Up , in which she conducted interviews with around 300 celebrities from business, culture, society and sport on Sundays over the years. In addition to the current TV program Niederösterreich, Nadja Mader also moderates the daily radio Niederösterreich Mittagsmagazin. Since May 2007 she has also headed the culture department of ORF Lower Austria. Since April 11, 2016, she has also been moderating the morning series Guten Morgen Österreich on ORF 2 . She is the moderator of numerous events and galas in the cultural, health and economic sectors.

Until 2015 Nadja Mader was called Nadja Mader-Müller .

Nadja Mader has two sons.
