Najafabad or Nedschefabad ( Persian نجفآباد, English Najafabad ) is the capital of the administrative district of Najafabad in the province of Isfahan . In 2016 the city had over 235,000 inhabitants. The city is located west of Isfahan and is increasingly becoming part of the Isfahan metropolitan area.
