Nagelberg (municipality of Brand-Nagelberg)

Nagelberg is a cadastral municipality in the Brand-Nagelberg municipality in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 199 building areas with 93,437 m² and 82 gardens on 41,609 m² in the cadastral community of Nagelberg, in 1989/1990 there were 335 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 795 and in 2009/2010 there were 357 buildings on 806 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 1003 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 9033 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 454 hectares and 9073 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 230 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 9068 hectares. The average soil climate number of Nagelberg is 15.8 (as of 2010).
