Neu-Nagelberg is a village in the Brand-Nagelberg community in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .
history
At the turn of the 20th century there was a single-class elementary school in the village. The station building was built in 1900.
Population development
In 1890, 499 people lived in Neu-Nagelberg. The number of inhabitants then fell slightly, but reached a peak in 1961 with 542 inhabitants. From the 1970s onwards, the population continued to decline. On January 1, 2020, the village had 102 residents.

Building
Regular row village with one and two-storey eaves-sided workers' houses from the 19th and 20th centuries.
economy
Neu-Nagelberg was known for its glass production. In the village there was a Palffy glassworks, which was taken over by the Stölzle company in 1835 and supplemented by a glass refinery. The glassworks burned down in 1936.
