Naiguatá is a village in the state of Vargas , Venezuela. It has about 14,583 inhabitants. In December 1999, between 10,000-30,000 people died in Vargas State from avalanches and landslides caused by heavy rainfall .

Several of the state's most famous beaches are nearby: Playa Los Ángeles, Camurí Grande, Playa Pantaleta, Balneario de Naiguatá, Punta de Care, Bahia de Anare and Los Caracas.
