Naked Truth is the debut album by the American singer Sarah Hudson , which was released on September 7, 2005 under the record label EMI Records / S-Curve.

After Hudson's first public appearance on the television show PBS-Frontline in 2004, it took a while for the album to be completed in the fall of 2005. Among others, Desmond Child and Billy Mann were involved in the album. Even Steven Tyler of Aerosmith contributed backing vocals. Track number 6, Unlove You , was covered by Ashley Tisdale and released on her debut album Headstrong in 2007.

reception

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic wrote that Hudson was not given the necessary space on the album to be herself, regardless of the charts. He awarded 2.5 out of five stars.
