Nancy McCredie
Nancy McCredie (born February 5, 1945 in Belleville , Ontario ) is a former Canadian shot putter and discus thrower .
In 1963 she won the Pan American Games in São Paulo in both disciplines. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 , she was seventh in the shot put and was eliminated in qualifying in the discus throw.
In 1966 she won bronze in the shot put at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston and was fifth in the discus throw. At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 , she defended her title in the shot put.
She was Canadian champion in the shot put six times (1962-1967), four times in the discus throw (1963-1966) and once in the javelin throw (1965).
