The Narcissus River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the eastern slopes of Mount Massif in the Du Cane Range , a mountain range in the center of the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park . From there it flows south to its entry into Lake St. Clair at its northern end, where it forms the Derwent River together with the Cuvier River .
