Nasirul Mulk

Nasirul Mulk ( Urdu ناصر الملک DMG Nāṣir al-Mulk ; * 17th August 1950 in the Swat district ) is a Pakistani lawyer and was from 1 June 2018 through to 18 August 2018 transitional Prime Minister of Pakistan .

Life

Since 2004 he was chief judge at the Peshawar High Court , then from 2005 senior justice at the Pakistani Supreme Court.

From November 30, 2013 to July 6, 2014 he was the senior election officer. Immediately thereafter, on the proposal of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif , he was appointed Chief Justice of Pakistan by President Mamnoon Hussain .

His predecessor as Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi , whose term of office would have ended on May 31, 2018, agreed with the opposition leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on him as a transitional prime minister . Its main task is to organize the upcoming elections.
