Incidents

After D-CBNA was taken out of service, the aircraft was to be transferred to Bournemouth Airport (Hurn) . During a final charter flight to Louisville (Kentucky) , the plane was supposed to make a stopover in Narsarsuaq on Greenland. However, the pilots were very tired. When attempting a visual approach to runway 07, the aircraft crashed into high terrain to the left of the runway. One passenger and the pilots, including the airline owner Ortwin R. Naske, died. As a result, Naske Air ceased operations.
