Nasreddine Ben Saida

Nasreddine Ben Saida , Arabic نصر الدين بن سعيدة, DMG Naṣr ad-Dīn ibn Saʿīda , (* 20th century ) is a Tunisian entrepreneur and publisher of Tunisian printed matter .

Nasreddine Ben Saida is editor of the Tunisian daily Attounissia , which was founded in December 2011 and which is published in Tunis in Arabic . On February 15, 2012, he was temporarily arrested along with the newspaper's editor-in-chief and a journalist because the newspaper had printed a revealing photo of the German-Tunisian professional footballer Sami Khedira and his girlfriend Lena Gercke . Until he was released on February 23, Ben Saida went on a hunger strike to protest his detention. On March 8, 2012, a court sentenced Ben Saida to a fine of 1,000 Tunisian dinars (around 500 euros) for publication and ruled that all remaining copies of the newspaper issue in question must be destroyed.
