Attounissia , Arabic التونسية, DMG At-Tūnisīya , is a Tunisian daily newspaper that appears in Arabic . It was founded in December 2011 and is based in the Tunisian capital, Tunis . There is a paper and an online edition.

In February 2012, the newspaper sparked a scandal in Tunisia by printing a revealing photo of the German-Tunisian professional soccer player Sami Khedira and his girlfriend Lena Gercke . The Publisher Nasreddine Ben Saida , together with the chief editor briefly detained Habib Guizani and a journalist from the newspaper. In March 2012, a court sentenced Ben Saida to a fine of 1,000 Tunisian dinars for publication (the equivalent of around 500 euros) and decided that all remaining copies of the newspaper issue in question must be destroyed. The process, which represents one of the first "state interventions" in press coverage in the era after the upheaval and flight of former President Ben Ali , received worldwide media coverage .
